Previous studies have shown that plasma sheet flux tubes that are drifting rapidly are more dipolar and contain a hotter, lower density, higher entropy plasma than slowly drifting flux tubes. The present study extends the investigation of differences between slow and fast flows by integrating throughout unit flux tubes to evaluate their volume and plasma content. These then are used to calculate other parameters involving flux tube volume. The spatial dependence of these integrated parameters will be illustrated during periods of fast, slow, and average flow speeds. The major effects of fast flows on the average spatial variations of plasma sheet parameters are then examined.
