Results are presented of an analysis of the Faraday rotation fluctuations of linearly polarized signals from the Helios-2 spacecraft, which were measured in 1977 during radio occultation of the circumsolar plasma at a wavelength of 13 cm. It is shown that the observed fluctuations have a characteristic period of 6-10 min. The velocity of the irregularities' motion at heliocentric distances of 2.8-3.4 solar radii is greater than 200 km/s, i.e., significantly higher than the solar wind velocity. From a comparison of the results obtained with theoretical models it is concluded that Faraday fluctuations are connected with low-frequency Alfven waves propagating from the sun.
