With the purpose of measuring the intensity of the diffuse galactic dust emission a liquid helium cooled telescope has been launched from Esrange (Sweden) onboard a sounding rocket. In this preliminary report signals obtained at 90 and 120 microns from a region centered at approximately 137 deg and approximately 13 deg are analyzed by using the interstellar dust model developed by Mezger, Mathis and Panagia. The derived temperature of the bare graphite particles is or = 24 K and that of the bare silicate grains is or = 15 K. These rather low temperatures indicate that the contribution to the observed radiation from extended low density HII regions must be very small.
