Illustrations and descriptions are given for 10 stellar spectral types from A3 to M5 as they appear on photographs obtained with the objective prism of the UK Schmidt telescope. The corresponding slit spectra at 18-A resolution also are shown from the image photon-counting system of the 3.9-m Anglo-Australian telescope. The stars range between mB = 14.8 and 18.8 with little or no reddening.
