The Faddeev - Jackiw quantization method applied to two-dimensional supergravity theories is considered. In particular the supersymmetric extension of the (1 + 1) Jackiw - Teitelboim model is treated within this framework. The results are compared with those obtained by means of the exterior canonical formalism arising from the group-manifold approach to supergravity.
