We discuss how IRAC data from the Spitzer Space Telescope greatly improves the efficiency of detection of extremely red objects (EROs). We present initial results from the Extended Groth Strip survey, providing new insight into the nature and evolution of EROs.
Based on observations from the Spitzer Space Telescope (operated by JPL/Caltech, NASA Contract 1407) with support provided through NASA Contract 960541 from JPL/Caltech.
