The paper investigates the models of a magnetic-binary system, produced by varying its two basic parameters, namely the one determining the electromagnetic character of the system and the mass parameter. At the limit of these parameters, Stoermer's problem is restated in a general form, by introducing some new terms due to the degeneration of the magnetic-binary problem.
