Scientific paper

A photometric study of the early-type galaxy with dust lanes NGC 7625 is presented. The apparent extinction law of the particles in the dust lanes is derived and R about 2.8, explained as dust grains that are marginally smaller than Galactic dust grains, is found. The emission characteristics of N 7625 at various spectral bands are analyzed and star formation processes therein are discussed.
