As an extension of previous work (Teerikorpi, 1978, 1981; Haarala and Teerikorpi, 1986), several kinds of extinction indicators of extragalactic type are used to explore extinction behavior at high galactic latitudes. These indicators show, generally, more extinction in the anticenter direction than in the center direction. The amplitudes correspond to B-extinction variations of about 0.3-0.4 mag, suggesting the presence of significant amounts of dust at high galactic latitudes.
