Nightly means for extinction were determined from the recorded real-time
extinction values of observations made on the 7-inch Transit Circle
Telescope at Black Birch Astrometric Observatory (BBAO). The residual
effects of the 15 June 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption in the Philippines
increased the extinction by about 0.25 magnitudes per airmass.
