Intergalactic gas clouds are captured by spiral galaxies due to the
rampressure friction existing in gaseous halos and disks. The captured
clouds are rapidly accreted toward the central region, fueling the
nucleus, which may trigger starburst. This could be a triggering
mechanism for starburst in isolated galaxies.
