This proposal continues our 7mm study of the SNR W28 and the surrounding field where one of the best examples of TeV gamma-ray emission and molecular cloud overlap is seen. Our APRS 2009 observations revealed CS(1-0), C34S, 13CS, and SiO(1-0) emission in regions where the SNR shock interacts with a molecular cloud, and towards the massive star formation in the south. We will extend our mapping to fully encompass the TeV gamma-ray emission and to map a factor 3 deeper in areas where we see the strongest CS(1-0) and SiO(1-0) emission. This proposal will provide wider and much improved maps in CS, 13CS, C34S and SiO in order to understand the full extent of the shocked and dense gas, and also the origin of extreme particle acceleration (SNR and/or star formation) responsible for the TeV gamma-ray emission.
