This proposal will explore the uniquely strong spatial correlation between TeV gamma-ray production and molecular gas in the W28 supernova remnant (SNR) field by extracting detail spectra from several NH3 cloud cores discovered in our 2008 Mopra survey. The cores under study represent a variety of environments: (1) where the SNR shock interacts with a molecular cloud and broad (>20km/s) NH3(3,3) emission is seen; (2) towards the IR shell likely blown out by the highly energetic ultra-compact HII region W28-A2; (3) towards a newly discovered NH3 core exhibiting forbidden negative velocity structure. These observations will permit extraction of NH3 hyperfine structure for detailed calculation of gas temperature and density, and complement such structures found towards other cores in our NH3 survey.
