Observations with high-angular resolutions have always provided exciting results to understand stars, galaxies, proto-planetary disks etc. Interferometers such as VLTI and Keck have begun to explore milli-arcsec structures at optical-IR wavelengths in additions to radio wavelengths. We have used another approach - namely "Spectro-astrometry" - to explore milliarcsec-scale structures. In this article I review its concept, our results to date and a possibility to explore micro-arcsec scales in the future.
