The Small Magellanic Cloud supernova remnant 0103-72.6 has been identified as oxygen-rich through its X-ray properties, as observed from Chandra. Deep images from the Magellanic Cloud Emission Line Survey have recently revealed what appears to be the first optical evidence for O-rich filaments, heretofore the defining characteristic of this class. Through this proposal we seek to confirm this result and to explore the distribution, composition, and kinematics of any ejecta- dominated filaments. High-resolution emission-line images from SOAR we will enable us to inventory the filaments, and will serve as a guide for long-slit spectroscopy from the Blanco. The spectra will enable us to compare the composition of pure ejecta fragments with that seen in the X- ray plasma, and to establish 0103-72.6's place in the context of other O-rich SNRs. Finally, through the combination of the spatial distribution of ejecta bullets and their Doppler velocities, we should be able to estimate a kinematic age for 0103-72.6.
