It is shown with the help of numerical model calculations that the short-period comets' distributions on the argument of the perihelion and on the longitude of the perihelion are simply explained by the evolution of their orbits under planetary influence. It is found by comparison of some calculated and observed dependences that these comets, as celestial mechanical bodies, must must have existed hundreds and thousands of years before the moments of their discovery.
