It is shown that refined measurements of the elements of planetary orbits make it possible to determine the ratio of the sun's gravitational radius to the speed of light with an accuracy of one in 100 million or better. This, used in conjunction with Doppler measurements of orbital velocities, offers an opportunity to make an independent test of general relativity. Relativistic corrections to trajectories and orbital velocities are found, and a number of experimentally verifiable relativistic effects are pointed out.
