Some results of an application of special and commercial TV sets to the observation of meteors are examined, and questions involved in the solution of specific observation problems are discussed. It is shown that using image-transfer tubes of the superorticon and isocon type, RV observations make it possible to record much weaker meteors as compared to photographic methods. Pictures showing the dynamic development of meteor phenomena and meteor disintegration processes are presented and discussed.
