Expected intensities (at earth) of rotational H2 and HD lines are computed for Sgr A and Sgr B2 clouds. Radio molecular data are used to compute the half-widths of these lines. It is shown that some lines are detectable with present infrared techniques. Their observation will provide the first direct estimate of masses and of the D/H ratio in very dense clouds.
