The effects of nonconvexity of Poisson adiabat that typically occurs in the domains of phase transitions is studied. Different forms of general criteria for existence and stability of relativistic shock waves, such as the evolutionarity conditions, entropy criterion and corrugation stability conditions, are compared with the requirement of existence of the shock viscous profile . The latter is shown to be most restrictive in case of a single-valued shock adiabat expressed as a function of pressure. The effect of phase transition domain on the bouncing shock formation in the process of hydrodynamical spherical collapse is studied numerically.
