The objective of this test is to exercise and verify the new 486 computer and pointing control system flight software with activities not utilized in other SMOV3A proposals. This includes moving target tracking while under FGS control, the gen-slew capability, guide star handoffs, handoffs from FGS control to Gyro control while tracking, onboard parallax correction and verification that the 2047s tracking limit no longer applies.
