The work of Johri and Sudharsan (1987) is generalized to include a magnetic field in the radial direction. It is found that the k = 0 FRW metric, which admits a dust solution in the Brans-Dicke theory, also admits an imperfect fluid distribution along with an electromagnetic field. Solutions are found as a function of time and radial coordinates, and they are shown to satisfy all the necessary energy and thermodynamic conditions. The solutions remain valid if a sourceless electric field is present along the radial direction or if both an electric and a magnetic field are present along the radial direction.
