Results are presented of observations of the eclipsing dwarf nova EX Hya in the quiescent state using five telescopes from four observatories for a total of 146 h in April 1979. It is found that the trend of a decreasing orbital period, which was present up to 1976, did not continue and in 1979 the period had changed towards a slightly larger value. Confirmation is obtained for the strong and coherent 67 min modulation of the light curve and it is shown that the 67 min period decreases on a time scale of 10 to the 6th yr. The light maximum of the 67 min cycle is determined to coincide with the bluest u-b colors, which reveals a color amplitude of 0.10-0.15 m. It is concluded that the 67 min modulation is not caused by variable mass transfer rates and probably corresponds to the rotation of a moderately magnetized white dwarf (the 'intermediate polar' model).
