The apparition of comet C/2006 M4 (SWAN) displayed a complex evolution characterized by a 2 magnitude outburst around the 24th of October 2006, related to a nucleus fragmentation event that produced a cloud of debris observed on the 7th of Novembre. The general evolution shows a complex trend indicating a probable further erosion process and/or fragmentation phaenomena.
