Model calculation results for rotating and nonrotating, 2.31-solar mass stars of population I composition have been compared with the observational parameters of the detached binary YZ Cassiopeiae binary component. Attention is given to the effects of rotation on the evolutionary behaviors of the model star through premain sequence evolution, as well as the zero-age main sequence. The evolutionary studies are then extended up to near-hydrogen-exhaustion stage, in order to ascertain a theoretical model that corresponds with the YZ Cassiopeiae primary component mass and radius; good agreement is noted between theoretical models and observational parameters.
