We present a new measurement of the redshift evolution of Type Ia supernova (SN Ia) rates in the Supernova Legacy Survey (SNLS) data set. To date, the SNLS has obtained roughly 350 spectroscopically-confirmed SNe Ia in the redshift range 0.2
