A cross-correlation analysis between the Tibet TeV γ-ray observatory and the MILAGRO γ-ray observatory reveals significant directional correlation of statistical fluctuations for small angular separations (θ<1.5°) between the fluctuations. Independent simulations indicate an approximately 10-4chance probability for observation of this correlation. This correlation implies the existence of one or more previously unidentified TeV γ-ray sources. The data within each survey could be consistent with point-like sources, or diffuse sources with angular extent of several degrees.
