Published observational data on the very rich cluster of galaxies 0004.8 - 3450, including objects up to m(b) = 22, are presented in tables and graphs and analyzed. The presence of a central giant cD galaxy, a luminosity antisegregation (as described by Capelato et al. 1980), and a low velocity dispersion (400 km/s) is considered strong evidence for inelastic interactions among the galaxies, leading to the merging of some bright galaxies into the cD.
