In 2009, the world unites in celebrating the International Year of Astronomy. A variety of international events will provide new opportunities to bring astronomy to laypeople including students, the general public, and underserved populations. It is critical that IYA displays and activities be inclusive and accessible to reach the broadest audience possible.
