We are developing a Bayesian statistical methodology for the analysis of events from the upcoming GLAST LAT (Large Area Telescope). The response of the LAT to an event is the set of silicon microstrips which fired. From this set of microstrips the energy and direction of the incident photon or particle must be determined, and a determination made as to the type of particle that was incident. Bayesian methodology allows the construction of two distributions. The first is the distribution over the energy and direction, given that the type of the incident particle is assumed known. The second is the distribution over particle types. These two distributions comprise a full event analysis.
