The observed width of the integrated pulse profile of a pulsar will differ from the beamwidth of its radio emission, suggesting a method for determining the inclination beta of the magnetic axis to the rotation axis. The angle beta is evaluated for 308 pulsars, and is found to diminish as a pulsar grows older. Estimates are also obtained for the height of the emission region, and for the Lorentz factor gamma and number density of the radiating particles.
