The global depth of isostatic compensation on Venus is determined on the
basis of the expansion of the gravitational field and surface relief of
Venus in spherical functions up to 18th order and degree by the
transfer-function method. This depth is found to be not less than 68 km,
which is less than the value obtained by Bills and Ferrari (1978).
