The contribution of the nuclear reactions alpha plus C, N, O, Ne to the galactic abundances of Li, Be, and B is estimated. Experimental values of production cross sections and systematic considerations on the general trend of the excitation functions are used to evaluate the present production. The contribution to abundances since the origin of the Galaxy is calculated by assuming constancy of the interstellar density and of the intensity of cosmic radiation. This contribution is compared with recent observed values.
