The gravitational field of Saturn's rings and their tidal effect on
Saturn have been calculated. The density distribution in the rings has
been chosen according to optical models. Assuming that the mass of rings
is equal to 1 millionth of the planet's mass, their gravitational
moments, beginning with the eighth harmonic, exceed those of Saturn.
