An expression is obtained for the dependence of the variation in the orientation of the aiming axis of a two-component telephoto lens of a telescope on the displacement (along the axis) of its focusing component when the latter is displaced at right angles to the aiming axis and the direction of motion of the focusing component is not parallel to the line joining the crosshairs of the telescope and the center of the lens itself.
