In ATel #3041 we incorrectly claimed that the Fermi Large Area Telescope measured variability from the well-known gamma-ray blazar 3C 454.3 consistent with a doubling time of 3 hours. A corrupt data file caused the preliminary, semi-automated analysis, on which this claim was based, to miscalculate the source exposure over the period in question. This error did not affect the preliminary flux measurements presented in the first paragraph of the ATel.
