In our original paper, the conversion factors between integrated intensity and column density in SiO and H13CO+ were miscalculated. This affects the column densities and SiO abundances quoted in Table 3, and the scales of the axes in Figures 5, 6, and 9. The correct conversion factor has been applied to the data, and both the table values and figure axes have been corrected.
The slope of the fit in Figure 5 has now changed from log([SiO]/[H2])=0.30+/-0.06log(L/Lsolar)-11.7+/-0.3 to log([SiO]/[H2])=0.14+/-0.06log(L/Lsolar)-11.5+/-0.3. Note that not only did the intercept change, but so did the slope of the line. This is because of a typo in the abundance used when plotting K3-50A. However, we note that the slope of the line is still positive, and thus does not change any conclusions we have drawn from this figure.
The slopes of the fits in Figure 9 remained unchanged; the intercept of the fit to the abundances changed from -2.4+/-0.9 to -2.0+/-0.9, and the intercept of the fit to the column densities changed from 5+/-1 to 6+/-1.
