LoTr5 is an old planetary nebula discovered by Longmore and Tritton (1980). The star HD 112313 = IN Com positioned at the center of the nebula is a G5 giant. Characteristics of the visible G5 star in the center of LoTr5 are given. Previous photometric and spectroscopic observations are briefly discussed along with new results. The existence of variations in the light curve and the radial velocity curve of HD 112313 is clearly established.
