The mass of a degenerate equilibrium star is determined within the framework of the approximate energetic method. The given parameters are the density of matter in the center of the star and discrete values of the intensity of the magnetic field frozen into the stellar interior; the field quantizes for the degenerate ultrarelativistic electron gas. It is shown that for certain values of the mass of the magnetized degenerate equilibrium star, the condition for the star's stability is fulfilled.
