The equilibrium of selfgravitating magnetized filaments has beenexamined
for different equations of state.The magnetic field H has been chosen
suchthat H2 ∝ρ, the density of filaments.The density
varies with radial distance asr-1 to r-2
approximately for themodels of interest.
