Equations of motion for test particles in a given field are obtained in the context of the Lorentz-covariant tensor theory of gravitation in plane space-time using the method of 4-coordinate variation. With post-Newtonian accuracy, these equations are equivalent to the equations of geodesics written in harmonic coordinates when the chi constant is equal to 3/4. In the post-Newtonian approximation, equations of motion including delay effects are obtained which have important applications in relativistic celestial mechanics and relativistic astrophysics.
