The history and current status of Pluto observations and ephemerides are reviewed. The orbital elements of Pluto as determined by Lowell and Pickering are listed, and the ephemerides are compared with the observational data. A continuous observational history of Pluto must be developed so that its ephemeris can be improved. The comparison between the observational data of Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune indicates that knowledge of the motions of the outer planetary system remains incomplete.
