We use synthetic AGB models to calculate abundances of (4) He, (12) C, and (14) N expected in PNe. We will discuss the importance of envelope burning in calculating these abundances. In particular, we compare the difference between the abundances calculated using the less extensive envelope burning indicated in the models of Renzini and Voli (1981) and the more extensive envelope burning indicated in the 7Msun model of Blocker and Schonberner (1991). Finally, we compare our theoretical abundances to the observed abundances of (4) He, and (14) N in PNe.
