Black Holes: Space-Time

Scientific paper

The Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations are solved in the background space-time of 1+1 dimensional black holes, respectively with the 't Hooft and "quasi-periodic" boundary conditions. The corresponding entropies of bosons and fermions are calculated. The result shows that the divergence in the fermionic entropy has the same form as that in the bosonic one except that the coefficients are different.
