The heliocentric latitude-dependence of enhanced scintillation sectors is studied by observing the day to day variation of scintillation index for sources with lines of sight in and outside the plane of the ecliptic. Comparision of the observations with theoretical computations shows that the scintillation sectors are confined to latitudes < 40°.
