Measurements made by Baruch et al. (1973) appear to indicate a 'step' in the hadron energy spectrum in the range from 2 to 8 TeV. An investigation of the hadron energy spectrum at the energies in question was, therefore, conducted. The results obtained show no evidence for a step in the energy range from 2 to 8 TeV. Details regarding the experimental arrangement used in the measurements are discussed along with the computational approaches.
