The Galactic Black Hole Candidate Cygnus X-1 exhibits unusual rapid X-ray variability properties. In particular, the evolution of the energy-dependence of the variability cannot be explained by simple models of the source. Here we will discuss our ongoing study of the data taken by the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer, and the implications that this has on the accretion disk models.
