Intensities of >1 GeV particles are normally suppressed downstream of CME shocks and within ejecta. Strong flows of energetic particles accompany these changes of the particle distribution, and these flows carry information on the topology and connection geometry of the magnetic field. We employ multi-station neutron monitor data to determine the evolution of energetic particle densities and flows during two events. These observations are compared with concurrent observations of plasma and magnetic field, in order to reveal relationships between the flows and the large-scale structure of the shock and ejecta.
