Helioseismic determination of solar interior is subject to the uncertainties in equation of states. Along with the technical improvements is the ever-increasing precision of helioseismic data. A more accurate equation of state that we can be more confident of is absoluately necessary. Among them, Mihalas-Hummer-Däppen (MHD) equation of state and a equation of state that was developed along with Opacity Project At Livermore (OPAL) are the two most popular ones. And fortunately MHD's lack of rigorous theoretical foundation is compensated by OPAL's conceptual conciseness, while OPAL's computational unwieldyness is compensated by MHD's flexibility and practicability. Since OPAL yields better match with solar data than MHD except at the top 2% of solar region, our research goal had been trying to find a modified MHD equation of state that emulates computational results of thermodynamic quantities from OPAL. So far this goal has been attained.
