A sample of 14 galactic globular clusters with deep CCD luminosity functions is analyzed for the dependence of the mass-function slopes on physical parameters. It is demonstrated that the previously suggested dependence of the mass-function power-law index on metallicity is not supported. A strong correlation between the mass-function power-law index and the distance from the galactic disk is determined, though no clear explanation is found. It is established that the present-day mass functions (PDMF) differ from cluster to cluster significantly, and there is a better-defined dependence of PDMF slopes on the position of the clusters with respect to the galactic gravitational potential.
